Yoga aimed at restoring your energy after the working week. The classes will be practical, informative, joyful and fun and will leave you ready and inspired to enjoy the weekend ahead!
Starting with a few gentle flowing yoga movements, we will spend the majority of our time in restorative poses that have a particular ability to leave us nourished and well rested. These postures are usually supported by blankets, blocks, or other props and are held for several minutes at a time. This type of Yin Yoga is particularly suited to this time of year; it stimulates the deep connective tissues and gently opens joints. Yin poses help harmonise the natural flow of energy through the meridian channels of the body.
These classes are also suited to those students who already attend a Yang or more active yoga class as Yin is a complementary practice. It is also suitable for complete beginners or anyone wanting to deepen their yoga practice.
