Winter break - The last class before the holidays will be on Thursday 22nd December and the class will re-start on Thursday 9th January 2012.

Whether this is your first pregnancy or you have been pregnant before, Pregnancy Yoga is here to help you live your pregnancy the best possible way, preparing yourself both mentally and physically for the birth of your baby/babies. Classes are suitable for all pregnancy stages from 14 weeks onwards. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Perfectly located in the heart of Manchester city centre, Bodywise Pregnancy Yoga classes create a space for the expecting Mum to feel nurtured and rested through a variety of easy exercises, tailored for her exclusive needs. You will learn how to relax, centre yourself and feel more serene for the big day.

Pregnancy Yoga is also a great opportunity to socialise with other pregnant women, share tips & support each other in this most precious time of your life.

Classes are adapted to the specific needs of the students so everyone can practise with confidence, ease and comfort. Modifications are offered according to stages of pregnancy, flexibility and strength. Various Breathing techniques are taught for different stages of labour - offering aid for pain relief and focus during labour and birthing.

Classes are held every Thursday commencing at 11.30am until 1pm (although you have the option to leave at 12.30pm) and you can attend on a drop-in basis. Click here to register your details. We are offering flexible times to include pregnant women who are working but may be able to attend at lunchtimes.

FAQs about Pregnany Yoga:

WHAT SHALL I BRING? - All yoga equipment is provided; no need to bring anything.

WHAT SHALL I WEAR? - Wear everyday comfortable clothes that you can stretch and move about easily in.

HOW DO I PAY? - Pay cash on the day for one class as a drop-in (£8.50/£6.50 concs or £6/£4.50 for one hour only) or save the hassle of bringing money each week and pay a block booking by cash or cheque in advance.

CAN I EAT BEFORE THE CLASS? - Yes! You can have a snack and a drink before the class. It is best to save having a main meal for after the class however, once the exercise is over.

CAN I ATTEND IF I SUFFER FROM SYMPHYSIS PUBIS DYSFUNCTION? - Yes, you can come and benefit from all the relaxing, beneficial effects of Pregnancy Yoga like everyone else. You will be offered modifications throughout the class to help with your condition and keep you comfortable.
