I have a long standing interest in massage and bodywork through meditation, tai chi, aikido and yoga.
More recently, I graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy (2009) and I have been working in the NHS as a physiotherapist. Since then, I have trained in sports and remedial massage in Manchester.
I can adapt my approach to your needs:
- Calming and grounding holistic massage
- Deep tissue massage to work on an area of tension or injury
- Sports maintenance massage
As well as traditional massage techniques, I am trained in myofascial release. This is a gentle hands on technique which releases connective tissue. It is particularly helpful for people who have postural problems or would like to improve their posture and alignment.
I enjoy working with a variety of clients including people with acute or chronic injuries and disabilities.
