Counselling and Psychotherapy
"You can’t do what you want ‘til you know what you’re doing." – Moshe Feldenkrais.
Through mindfulness, we can generate a feeling of integration between our conscious mind and our feeling body. To connect with our feeling body, we need to study the relationship between ourselves and others.
"I sought my god
My god I could not see
I sought my soul
My soul eluded me
I sought my brother
And found all three." – Book: Radical Acceptance
Many of the ways we react to situations, happens from outside our awareness. Through connecting with bodily sensations and the felt sense of an experience, we can explore the ways we habitually react even to new experience, be it from trauma, abuse, illness or simply the path of time. Through experiments in mindfulness, we can witness how loving presence has the power to uncover core beliefs and spontaneously discover creative ways to allow the natural pace of change to enter our life.
